Owl

Just wanted to do a painting of an owl, used a photo reference for the owl in the beginning then just did my own thing.

420 Paintings

Did a couple portraits I was planning to have done for 420. Guess I spaced on the date...

But Why Is The Rum Gone?

Here is a portrait of Johnny Depp as "Captain" Jack Sparrow I did. I used a large piece of cardboard I cut from the box my TV came in, wanted to paint and had no canvas, I have recently gotten a roll so I will not be using cardboard anytime soon, however I kind of like the way it turned out. It does not look as good as it does in person due to my camera, and my semi epileptic hands while attempting to take these photos. Never the less! Here's Captain Jack. Also I made the frame and stapled the piece to it in order to keep it straight, the layers of paint were curving the cardboard.

A Slice Of Humble Pie served to you by Han Solo.

Just wanted to do a portrait of someone from Star Wars lol, Han Solo was an obvious choice. Started out on a single canvas but it wouldn't fit his entire blaster, so instead of redoing it smaller scale, I just added a second smaller canvas.

Army of Liberation, Gunpoint Indoctrination

A bit of propaganda to start the new year. Started out as a painting of a skull for practice then got the idea to turn it into an Anti-War/Soldier thing.

Movember

In honor of the glorious mustache month that is November, I decided to do a quick painting of Salvador Dali. Kept it monochromatic which was good for practice and stayed true to the reference photo. Some parts I am still not pleased with but it's practice so onto the next one.

Another Bob

Told myself awhile ago, after I finished the painting for my aunt. That I would never paint Marley again. Never say never, I listen to his music all the time while I paint so a tribute, or 3, is warranted.
I left a bunch of it unfinished, for instance some of his hair and shirt I left rough, I liked the way it looked and wanted to move onto another painting.

Just Follow Your Nose

Toucan painting, 2 sittings, might continue to work on it, possibly change the sky and green, after it's all dry.

Neighbours' House Sign

My neighbour asked me to repaint a sign infront of his house that had become faded and weathered.
Top Image is when I was in the middle of grinding off the rusted spots and old paint, bottom is after I put it back up for him.

Another Octopus

Sort of in the same realm as the "Turtle City" I did awhile back, underwater is neat. Also, curse my camera which makes all the black shine.

The Multitasker

 Doodle of an Octopus I did, seem to be drawing a lot of octopi lately. He's enjoying some of my favourite things, just needs a cheeseburger.

Underwater studies

Drew these up a little while back, finally got around to inking and scanning them. I spelt "squid," wrong I realize.

Eagle

Did a quick sketch of an eagle today for study, maybe about an hour and a half. I was asked to paint one so I will be doing a couple sketch studies before I start that. Eagles seem to always look pissed off. Also, I have came to the conclusion that my camera is kind of shit.
                                                     Finally got around to doing a painting.

Megalodon

Took a break from a commissioned piece I've been working on to stretch my imagination and add some detail/change up this old painting I was unhappy with. It was nice to have something else to work on since I desperately needed a break.

Did this for April 20th of this year, just a fun doodle, Finally got around to fine-lining the contour lines, still might paint it in photoshop another day
